NFL Star Travis Kelce Teams Up With Bud Light Despite Ongoing Right-Wing Boycott

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has teamed up with Bud Light as the company continues to face a right-wing boycott over their partnership with transgender TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney.

The controversy started back in April, when Mulvaney announced she had become one of Bud Light’s endorsers. That non-controversial announcement triggered right-wingers to boycott Bud Light and put their bigotry on full display.

The two-time Super Bowl champ is starring in a brand new ad for the beleaguered beer company, and he just doesn’t seem to give a f*ck about the hysterical backlash he’s already starting to face.

The 15-second spot, titled “Grunts,” pokes fun at the audible noises men make when they pop open a cold brewski and plop down into their favorite chair.

As the Kansas City Star editorial board wrote this week: “Tying his reputation to a brand that has been the target of a widespread boycott takes courage, a character trait Kelce often exhibits on the field. In Kansas City, we learned some time ago Kelce was fearless: Over the course of his 10-year, record-setting career in the NFL, we’ve seen him run over hapless defenders with regularity. Kelce is never one to shy away from contact.”
