In Heartbreaking Letter To Santa, Young Boy Asks If God ‘Loves Me For Being Gay?’

A young boy has penned a heartbreaking letter to Santa asking if God will still love him for being gay.

A handwritten from “Will” was posted to a website run by USPS Operation Santa, which collects letters penned to Santa from children asking for toys.

“Dear Santa, do you support the LGBTQ community and if you can speak to God, can you tell him I love him, and if he loves me for being gay[?]” Will asked.

“Thank you,” he concluded. “Love, Will.”

“This letter to Santa broke my heart,” wrote Nancy Cruz-Garcia, who was so moved by the letter she decided to share it on Twitter.

“Being a queer kid is so difficult 💔 I hope this little boy knows that God does love him no matter what,” wrote another Twitter user.

“This hurts my heart so much. I hope will and all the other little lgbtq+ babies know (and get told) they’re so, so loved. For those who believe in Christianity, yes, God loves you. Don’t believe those who say he doesn’t,” wrote Ashley.
