Former Minnesota congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-MN), who previously said she was advising President Donald Trump on foreign policy, recently described Trump as the most “biblical” and “godly” president in a lifetime.
“I will say to your listeners, in my lifetime I have never seen a more biblical president than I have seen in Donald Trump,” the former Tea Party lawmaker said last weekend during an interview with a Christian radio station, which was first shared by the progressive watchdog site Right Wing Watch.
“He has so impressed me in what he has done, and we haven’t even talked about Israel. What he has done to advance Israel,” she added.

“He is highly biblical and we will in all likelihood never see a more godly, biblical president again in our lifetime,” she continued. “So we not only need to be praying for him, we need to support him, in my opinion, in every way that we can.”
The vehemently anti-gay Republican also prayed against the “Deep State,” which, according to her, is plotting to undermine Trump.
“The Deep State are people who have permanent jobs within the federal government,” Bachmann said.
“Not everyone is a part of the Deep State, but you don’t need everyone,” she continued. “If you have just a hundred people who are in line with the goals to advance cultural and economic Marxism or to advance the goals of Islamic jihad, for instance, and they have jobs within the federal government, they can do very serious damage.”
According to Bachmann, it’s up to Christians to pray for the exposure of the Deep State.
“I pray according to the scripture which says we need to pray to expose — ask the Lord to expose the hidden deeds of darkness,” she prayed. “And he has remarkable ways of doing this, where you can only say it’s the hand of God who exposes the hidden deeds of darkness.”
In 2014, Bachmann told a conservative radio show that the “gay community” was pushing an agenda of “deviancy,” “tyranny” and child rape.
She warned that the gay community will “abolish age of consent laws, which means we will do away with statutory rape laws so that adults will be able to freely prey on little children sexually. That’s the deviance that we’re seeing embraced in our culture today.”
In 2015, she warned that the rapture is coming, thanks to President Barack Obama’s policies on Iran’s nuclear program and marriage equality.
She told “End Times” radio host Jan Markell, “We need to realize how close this clock is getting to the midnight hour.”
“We in our lifetimes potentially could see Jesus Christ returning to earth and the rapture of the church,” Bachmann said. “We see the destruction, but this was a destruction that was foretold.”
