Falwell Follows Don Jr.’s Failed #MeToo Joke With Apparent Threat To Shoot Ocasio-Cortez

During a panel discussion on Friday at the Conservative Political Action Conference, Liberty University president Jerry Falwell Jr. appeared to threaten to shoot Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez while talking about defending the second amendment.

“My boys always have guns in their hands, that’s not something you teach them,” Falwell told the audience.

To that, Donald Trump Jr. delivered a botched #MeToo joke. “Hashtag me too,” he said.

Moments later, Falwell said, “Just let Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez show up at my house and try to take my cows away.”

On Thursday, former White House aide Sebastian Gorka warned the CPAC audience that the Democrats “want to take away your hamburgers.”

The false claim has been largely debunked. In a recent interview, Ocasio-Cortez said that she has no intention of forcing Americans to go vegan. She said, “It’s to say, ‘Listen, we’ve got to address factory farming. Maybe we shouldn’t be eating a hamburger for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Like, let’s keep it real.’”

Trump Jr.’s girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle, who recently left her role at Fox News, accused Democrats of wanting people to be murdered.

“That is murder. That’s flat out simple. So that’s what the Democrats wants.”
