Kellyanne Conway’s Husband Mocks Trump For Playing A National ‘Emergency Round’ Of Golf

Less than 24 hours after he declared a national emergency on the border with Mexico, President Trump was spotted at the Trump International Golf Club in Palm Beach, Florida, waiting for an omelette before hitting the links.

Journalist J.D. Durkin tweeted a photo of the president chatting with an omelet chef at the golf resort this morning, writing, “Just in — a source at the Trump International Golf Club in Palm Beach just texted me this photo taken a short time ago.”

George Conway, the husband of White House counselor to the president, Kellyanne Conway, took a swipe at the president’s casual demeanor while grabbing an omelet at his golf course just a day after declaring the country was experiencing a national emergency.

The attorney commented: “An emergency round.”

Nearly 30 percent of Trump’s time in office thus far has been spent at his own properties.

Trump has spent 168 days out his 757 days in office at a Trump golf property, according to NBC News.

During his Friday speech announcing the emergency declaration, Trump said about the declaration, “I didn’t need to do this, but I’d rather do it much faster.” He left for his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida a few hours later.
