Republican Lawmaker Introduces Bill That Would Tax Access To Porn To Pay For Trump’s Border Wall

A Republican state lawmaker in Arizona has introduced a bill that would access to tax porn to fund President Trump’s proposed border wall that he promised to make Mexico pay for, Fox News reported Tuesday.

Under House Bill 2444, introduced by Arizona state Rep. Gail Griffin (R) this week, electronic devices sold in the state would be required to include porn blockers by law.

Those who wish to view pornography and bypass the block would be required to submit a request to the person or company that distributed the device, provide proof of their age, and pay a deactivation fee of $20 to the Arizona Commerce Authority.

Deactivating the blocker without paying the fee will be considered a crime under the proposed legislation.

The fees would then be transferred to the newly-created John McCain Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation Fund.

The fund reportedly provides support to a number of initiatives through grants, including funding Trump’s proposed border wall.

Two-thirds of the Arizona State House would need to vote “yes” on the measure, which reportedly only has one sponsor at the moment: Rep. Griffin.
