Trump Claims To Know More About Technology Than Anyone, Cites His Drone Expertise To Call For Border Wall

President Donald Trump on Thursday bragged that he is an expert on technology, specifically, that he is an expert on drone technology during a brief appearance in the White House briefing room.

Before the president and his Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders left the room without answering a single question from the press, Trump made a push for his long-promised border wall by citing his tech expertise.

“Without a wall, you cannot have border security. It won’t work,” Trump stated.

“You see what’s just been put out on social media,” Trump told reporters, referring to some unspecified post that may or may not exist, “where thousands of people are rushing the border.

“Having a drone fly overhead and I think nobody knows much more about technology, this type of [drone] technology, certainly than I do. Having drones and various other form of sensors, they’re all fine but they’re not gonna stop the problems this country has,” he added.

As Trump and Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders left the podium and walked out toward the door, a reporter shouts: “Sarah, are you coming back? Are you not taking any questions at all?”

A second reporter shouts: “The point of the briefing room is to take questions.”
