GOP Lawmaker Unleashes Bizarre Anti-Gay Tirade After Colleague Touches Arm: ‘Look, I’m A Heterosexual’

A Pennsylvania Republican state representative launched into a bizarre anti-gay tirade after a colleague touched his arm during a debate on government affairs.

Rep. Daryl Metcalfe (R), the chairman of the Pennsylvania House State Government Committee, directed his attack at Democratic Chairman Matt Bradford after the democrat touched his arm while making a remark about land use issues.

“Representative Bradford,” said Metcalfe, interrupting Bradford. “Look, I’m a heterosexual. I have a wife, I love my wife. I don’t like men, as you might. But stop touching me all the time.”

“It’s like keep your hands to yourself,” he added as a bewildered Bradford looked on. “Like, if you want to touch somebody, you have people on your side of the aisle that might like it. I don’t.”

“We are officially off the rails. My intent was just to beg for your permission for about 30 seconds,” Bradford said.

“Then beg, don’t touch,” Metcalfe fired back.

“I don’t know where we go from here,” Bradford replied as laughter broke out in the room.
