In an interview with the Daily Beast, Kathy Griffin unloaded on her former CNN New Year’s Eve co-host and friend, Anderson Cooper, for not coming to her defense after she was fired for posting a photo earlier this year of Trump’s decapitated head.
Using a quote “from my gays,” Griffin called Cooper “The Spineless Heiress,” a reference to his wealthy Vanderbilt family roots.
The jab comes five months after the comedienne was fired from her New Year’s Eve gig and slammed by Cooper in a Tweet for pulling the stunt.
“For the record, I am appalled by the photo shoot Kathy Griffin took part in. It is clearly disgusting and completely inappropriate,” Cooper wrote on Twitter to his 9.68 million followers.
Griffin has since been replaced by Bravo’s Andy Cohen, a friend and comedy show partner of Cooper’s.
