Bill O’Reilly: I’m ‘Mad At God’ Over Allegations Of Sexual Harassment

Former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly said Monday he’s “mad at God” for the sexual misconduct allegations he’s faced this year.

“You know, am I mad at God? Yeah, I’m mad at him,” O’Reilly said on a new episode of his “No Spin News” web show. “I wish I had more protection. I wish this stuff didn’t happen. I can’t explain it to you. Yeah, I’m mad at him.”

O’Reilly accused The New York Times, which reported Saturday that the former anchor paid $32 million to settle a sexual harassment claim a month before Fox News extended his contract earlier this year, of being “out to hurt people with whom they disagree.”

“I truly believe that these people at The New York Times are out to hurt people with whom they disagree. They don’t want me in the marketplace,” O’Reilly said, according to CNN. “That’s what this is all about.”

O’Reilly told The Times Monday that he’s gone through a “horrible” experience.

“It’s horrible what I went through, horrible what my family went through,” O’Reilly said. “The pain it brings to my children is indescribable. Indescribable.”
