Gay Couple Ejected From JetBlue Flight For “Verbally Harassing” Ivanka Trump

A gay couple were kicked off a JetBlue flight following accusations that they had been “harassing” Ivanka Trump.

Matthew Lasner and Dan Goldstein noticed the future First Daughter and her husband, Jared Kushner, on their flight. Goldstein, a lawyer, decided to give her a piece of his mind about her father.

TMZ reports that Goldstein told Trump, “Your father is ruining the country”, and that he asked other passengers: “Why is she on our flight? She should be flying private.”

As Goldstein and Lasner were led off the plane, Goldstein reportedly said, “You’re kicking me off for expressing my opinion.”

Twitter tells a bit of the story:

“Ivanka and Jared at JFK T5, flying commercial. My husband chasing them down to harass them. #banalityofevil,” wrote Lasner in a now-deleted tweet.

Later he tweeted the following:

“My husband expressed displeasure in a calm tone, JetBlue staff overheard and they kicked us off.”

JetBlue has responded with the following statement:

If the crew determines that a customer is causing conflict on the aircraft, the customer will be asked to deplane, especially if the crew feels the situation runs the risk of escalation during flight. In this instance, our team worked to re-accommodate the party on the next available flight.

The company added that the decision to remove passengers from flights “is not taken lightly”.

Trump supporters have now taken to sharing Lasner and Goldstein’s address and personal information online.
