This Fierce Silver-Leotard-Wearing Baton Twirler Slayed At His 4th Of July Parade

A silver leotard wearing baton twirler stole the show at his local 4th of July parade in Monroeville, Pennsylvania.

David Peters became an instant viral sensation after footage of his flashy solo routine was posted on social media, racking up millions of views on facebook and Youtube.

“This guy was the show-stopper adorned in silver,” said parade viewer Joe Scassera.

The pharmacy technician says he has been twirling since he was about seven years old. He told Pittsburgh’s ABC 4 News that his motivation for twirling is for his partner, who is currently battling throat cancer.

“I get him to smile, and I get him to get out of the house and that makes me happy, seeing him happy.”
