U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren was recognized for her work on behalf of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community at Boston’s Pride parade this morning.
“This is a day of celebration,” Warren told the crowd assembled in Copley Square. “I have my boa in the car, I am raring to march in the parade. But there are big fights to come. There is a man who hopes to be the leader of this great nation and he hopes to get there by hating others…The only way we beat bullies is we stand up and fight back.”
