Bullied Teen, Called ‘Gay’ For His Love Of Ballet Stuns ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ Judges

Jack Higgins, a 14-year-old contestant on Britain’s Got Talent, delivered a stunning ballet performance to the Great Big World’s ballad “Say Something (I’m Giving Up on You)”.

The teen revealed that his love of ballet has led to severe bullying in school: “People was calling me names. Getting bullied, saying I was gay and I danced like a girl and ballet was for girls.”

Following his emotional performance, Simon Cowell comforted the teen with some heartfelt advice: “You know the one thing that bullies don’t like? They don’t like it when you do well. I can see how hard you’ve worked for this moment and I congratulate you Jack.”
