A drug smuggler was caught trying to enter Spain after a ‘suspiciously large bulge’ in his trousers which turned out to be more than a pound of cocaine.

The 43-year-old had attached a plastic container full of cocaine to his privates which created a noticeable bulge.

After examining his hand luggage, officers turned their attention to his trousers and the suspiciously large object between his legs.

Spanish police tweeted a picture of the drug trafficker alongside the message: ‘A suspicious package between his legs.’ The picture reveals the man was wearing a pair of black boxer shorts over pants with a floral design on them.

The man now faces up to three years in prison if found guilty of drugs smuggling.
