Will Smith revealed he’s extremely proud of his son Jaden’s “fearless” gender-fluid style during an interview on BBC Radio 1Xtra with A.Dot earlier this week.
Last month, Will’s 17-year-old son appeared shirtless in a leather skirt for Vogue Korea, while also modelling in womenswear as the face of the Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2016 Campaign.
When the radio host asked Will about how he feels about Jaden’s gender-fluid style and his recent photoshoot with Louis Vuitton, Will responded with nothing but praise for the young actor and model:
“You know, there’s a really powerful internal quality as an artist that as parents we encourage. You gotta get out on the edge, you have to try things, you have to be comfortable doing things that people don’t agree with and you have to be comfortable doing things that you could fail. Jaden is 100 percent fearless, he will do anything, you know? So as a parent it’s scary, it’s really terrifying, but he is completely willing to live and die by his own artistic decisions and he just doesn’t concern himself with what people think.”
