Hillary Drops Emotional Campaign Video Honoring Gay Couples On Eve Of Supreme Court Ruling

As the nation eagerly awaits the Supreme Court’s decision on same-sex marriage, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has released her boldest video in support of same-sex marriage to date.

Her 2½ minute video titled Equal, depicts the weddings of several diverse same-sex couples. Clinton ends by declaring, “Gay rights are human rights and human rights are gay rights.”

In one clip, a husband reads his vows on his wedding day, sharing the many doubts and struggles he overcame when he had come out years earlier, adding that he never thought he would ever be able to marry. “That’s the one that really hurt — I’ll never get married,” he said. “But now I’ll never feel alone.”

All love is equal. It's time for marriage equality.
