The richest author in the world just gave a homophobic former ‘fan’ the perfect response on twitter to his angry rant about a gay character.
Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling responded to Twitter user halfelven55ff who attacked her for making Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore gay.
The disgruntled fan writes:
Rowling fired back a short time later by telling her “ex-fan” to start following an anti-gay campaigner in Scotland instead of her:
@halfelven55ff I advise you to start following Brian Souter at once. He's much more your kind of person.

According to the Independent:
The amendment, repealed in 2000, stated that local authorities “shall not intentionally promote homosexuality or publish material with the intention of promoting homosexuality” or “promote the teaching in any maintain school of the acceptability of homosexuality as a pretended family relationship”.
Souter opposes Rowling on the subject of Scottish independence, with both having donated £1 million to different sides of the debate.
Let’s not forget about the time author Anne Rice gave homophobic Christians the ultimate smack down on her Facebook page, telling her fans, “I will no longer tolerate hate speech in the guise of Christian belief.” Read more here.
