Professional Wrestler Jay Briscoe Tweets He’d “F#cking Shoot” Anyone Who Teaches His Kids Being Gay is Ok

6a00d8341c730253ef01901c012a74970b-250wiProfessional wrestler Jay Briscoe, who currently wrestles with Ring of Honor, Combat Zone Wrestling, and Pro Wrestling Guerilla, and is the current Ring of Honor Chammpion with his brother Mark Briscoe, shared his homophobic thoughts via twitter this week on the Delaware Senate passing a gay marriage measure.

On Wednesday Briscoe tweeted:

The Delaware Senate passed a bill yesterday that allows same sex couples to get married. If that makes you happy, then congratulations!!!!!… try and teach my kids that there’s nothing wrong with that and I’ll f**king shoot you

It’s not the first homophobic tweet by Briscoe, in 2011 also wrote this anti-gay tweet:

Damn there’s a lot of f*gs out in New York today #WhatTheF*ck.

It appears Twitter has and deleted his Twitter page, or Briscoe deleted it himself.

According to Slam! Wrestling, he would not get away with these comments if he wrestled in the WWE:

If a WWE wrestler made these statements, it would probably be pretty close to the end for them. Luckily for Briscoe, ROH is so far under the radar that he’ll likely skate on these statements.

ROH issued the following statement in response to Briscoe’s remarks:

Ring of Honor Wrestling respects and appreciates every fan regardless of age, gender, race, religion or sexual preference. The recent post by Jay Briscoe does not represent the views or opinions of Ring of Honor Wrestling, its owners, management or employees.
